 Dr. Zoyla Almeida graduated from Swarthmore College and attended Hahnemann University Medical School. She then attended the University of Miami, where she completed residency and fellowship training. After residency training, she held a position as Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology before returning for fellowship training.
She is a published author of several publications and a presenter of multiple national meetings.
She has special interest in minimally invasive surgery, robotic , and SILS surgery (single incision laparoscopy surgery). In addition, she has vast experience with gynecologic cancers and complex gynecologic problems.
She takes pride in being bilingual. Her passion is to provide her patients with the highest quality of compassionate care with regards to cancer and women’s issues.
